Filipe Araújo

Born in 1981, Filipe da Cunha Araújo is an architect with a fascination for filigree. Under his fresh approach and vision, this centenarian art undergoes a remarkable transformation. In 2014 Filipe introduced a new technique that enables him to colour the empty spaces of his jewels in a perfect symbiosis. He is the only artist known in the world to use it. His pieces look the same from both sides. Work shown in numerous exhibitions in Portugal, several commissions abroad.
