Madjoi Jewels proposes new ways of being, consuming, and inhabiting. Marc’s jewelry communicates the aesthetics of his ethical values, which are the ones that permeate the Madjoi brand. They contain an inspiring message for whoever will wear them.

Marc Diaz believes in the close link that exists between Art and contemporary Jewelry. The values that inspire him when creating reside in the starting concept, the materials he uses, or the techniques he applies.

This ring belongs to the "Tramuntana Bits" Collection and is a unique piece registered in the Balearic Islands Intellectual Property Registry and has a Certificate of Authenticity.

Our mission as a brand consists precisely in interweaving "quantumally", just as Physics does, contemporary Jewelry - Aesthetics - with Recycling {Upcycling} and Social and Environmental Consciousness - Ethics and Politics -.

These 3 concepts empathize with each other in such a way, in our creative process, that we cannot ignore any of them without the other two and the message suffering from their absence.

Madjoi Jewels wants to symbolize an imaginary where eco-design, local origin and the sustainability of materials are protagonists.

Symbolism

“Imagine” symbolizes an imaginary where ecodesign, local origin, and sustainability of materials are protagonists. “Ethics - the umbilical cord between the possible and the real - is my starting point to create new realities, new techniques, and new aesthetics”.

Materials

This ring has been made with renewable materials: White asphodel fiber (Asphodelus Albus) to form the body of the ring, Dragon's Blood Resin (Dracaena draco), Lemon shellac (Citrus×limon), Plum shellac (Prunus s. Prunus).

Technique

For its elaboration I have developed my own techniques, I have applied traditional goldsmithing techniques and the Japanese technique of Urushi lacquer.
