Yama

This large golden bead has plenty of horns, teeth and other spiky parts, but none of it looks outwards to be scratchy. It has its own kind of a bead bracelet designed to go together with it, the silver lava beads. Natural lava as a material has a wonderful texture to it, but it is also very fragile. Making a lava bead made of silver, with the similarly diverse texture but much more wearable, was a really interesting challenge.
