Artists & Artisans - Brazil

Jewelry and object designer. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, she was part of the movement for freedom of creation in Brazilian jewelry in the 1980s, which meant a revolution in the way of creating and even the use of pieces. She seeks purity and simplicity of form, transforming each ornament into a sculpture for the body, creating a playful and sensual space.
Her choice of living by the ocean, in the Atlantic Forest, influences his work proposal, with the need to develop research into organic shapes and materials. At the same time, it seeks to minimize the use of natural resources,  their impact, choosing those that contribute to environmental preservation.
She likes to go in search on the sands of the beaches, looking for wood or other elements that have suffered the action of the sea and the time, transforming their use, giving them the status of treasures.
Her jewelry is full of symbolism in the chosen shapes or materials that refer to the preservation of memory or its unusual use.
