Tricoma

Art. 3442

The shape of the ring, modelled in the likeness of trichomes, carries with it the meaning of defence and security. The use of this shape recalls the idea of a natural armour, a protection mechanism from predation and the adaptation to the surrounding environment which is reflected in the structure of the trichomes themselves. The ring can be interpreted as a way to carry a symbol of protection and inner strength, similar to the role trichomes play for plants.
