The Laue Brooch has been inspired by using the orientation of crystal structures and symmetry within the mineral Stibnite. Carly translated this information into initial sketches, before developing them further using CAD to create the final piece. Once this has been completed, it is 3D printed and dyed in black to represent the mineral Stibnite, with precious metals such as silver to create the brooch pin to finish the final product creating a piece that will be admired by many.
