Art. 130

The idea of the star rings is to create found objects fallen from the sky, which should bring joy and happiness to the finder. They seem to come from another world but yet they are not alien. The stars are cut from a wax plate, incised and folded around the engraving. Like all of Moritz’s works, they are traditionally made with almost no technical aids using the Ashanti casting technique. Each piece is unique, none is the same another, even if they look similar.
