Robotik: the new collection by futuroRemoto

Art. 81

ROBOTIK is the new Capsule Collection by Gianni De Benedittis, head of futuroRemoto, inspired by robots and what they represent in relation to the human world, in the contemporary world.

"We live in a great paradox: the computer, our little daily robot, in its operations considered to be the most important, wants to make sure that it has a human in front of it, asking the user on duty to declare that he is not a robot" says Gianni De Benedittis. So we are witnessing an important role reversal, perhaps we humans have robotized ourselves and we should go and look for a bit of humanity in matter, in that well-educated mechanics of humanoids and the like, which now dominate and govern us.

Here, then, is the idea of building funny lucky robots to hang around the neck, small totems with a symbolic value, as a tacit or a gentle warning, with some unmistakable characteristics of all time, of the small futureRemoto sculptures, such as inventiveness, the kinetic dimension and the sound one, in the playful freedom of wearing a totally contemporary jewel.

The little robots all made of silver, with boxed technique for some, others with details in gold and semiprecious stones, hematite, green turquoise, citrine quartz and raw lapis.
