Marie Jianu's journey in the world of jewelry design began in 2012 at the esteemed Assamblage School in Romania. Under the guidance of master craftsmen David Sandu and Andreia Gabriela Popescu, Jianu honed her skills and developed her unique artistic vision.
In 2020, Jianu expanded her repertoire by studying the ancient technique of Chasing and Repousse with the talented Fabrizio Acquafresca. This traditional metalworking method has become a cornerstone of Jianu's artistic expression, allowing her to explore the plasticity of metals and create pieces that push the boundaries of contemporary jewelry design.
