International Institute of Gemology (IIG) and Gem-A announce collaboration to bring Gemmology Diploma course to India
MUMBAI, India – The International Institute of Gemology (IIG) has announced a collaboration with the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A) to introduce the Gemmology Diploma course, the opportunity to become a Fellow of the Gemmological Association (FGA) in India. As part of this partnership, IIG is set to become an Accredited Teaching Centre (ATC) for Gem-A, further solidifying its commitment to excellence in gem education.
The collaboration between IIG and Gem-A was launched on 1st October, 2023, at the GJS Show in the presence of Mr. Alan Hart, CEO of Gem-A, and Mr. Rahul Desai, CEO & MD at the International Institute of Gemology, along with several industry leaders.
This occasion marked the beginning of a journey towards expanding gemmological education in India and promoting excellence in the field.
