featuring over 300 lots from leading fine jewelry houses including Cartier, Chopard, Bulgari
and Van Cleef & Arpels. The collection heading to auction, spans the decades from
exquisite Art Deco to modern contemporary pieces.
Leading the sale is a spectacular Chaumet belle époque garland diamond tiara necklace, circa 1910. Tiaras have long been associated as the pinnacle of fine jewelry created for
royals, aristocrats and the social elite who wanted to impress at society occasions, and
they remain as popular today.
The tiara on offer at Bonhams can be worn in the traditional way or as a necklace. The statement jewel is set throughout with old-brilliant-cut diamonds and offered with an estimate of €40,000-60,000.
