Innovative: Tantalum Trauringe

Art. 286

The registered brand "Tantalum Trauringe" belongs to the manufacture "Le Marchant". Francisco Marchant launched the innovative wedding ring brand in 2015 after three years of research. He is considered a pioneer in the production of wedding rings made of tantalum.

All the rings are made of the rare element tantalum. Tantalum was chosen because the anthracite-grey metal symbolises the love between two people particularly well: It is individual, special, eternal and unique. Its anthracite grey colour allows the rings to be given an exciting look, either by combining them with gold, platinum or diamonds, or by using a wide variety of finishes.

The collection of wedding-, engagement- and eternityrings currently comprises around 46 models. The special feature: Since all rings are handmade, they can be individually adapted to the customer's wishes. There is a vast choice of different profiles, cuffs, inlays, surfaces and diamonds.

The material tantalum in the production of jewellery
Tantalum is a chemical element with the atomic number 73 in the periodic table. Tantalum has only recently been used in the world of jewellery. Tantalum meets the taste of young people who do not want a classic goldring as a wedding ring.

The advantages and qualities of tantalum
Tantalum Trauringe works with 999 Tantalum, which is the pure metal. This offers several advantages. For example, it is ideally suited for allergy sufferers, as it does not trigger any allergies. This is why tantalum is also used in medicine for implants. Tantalum is harder than platinum and incredibly heat- and scratchresistant - its melting temperature is around 3000° C. At the same time, tantalum does not oxidise. Also, tantalum does not oxidise, so that rings do not show any discolouration or deposits even after a long period of not wearing the ring. Therefore, its qualities make tantalum the ideal material for wedding rings.

Visionary: The "Emoire" Ring
The Emoire ring picks up on the trend of combining two rings into one. Its name is the fusion of the German words "Ehering" and "Memoirering". If you look at the Emoire ring from above, you get the impression that it consists of two separate rings, but this is not the case. If you look at the inside of the ring, it quickly becomes clear that it is a single, continuous ring rail. The part of the eternityring is worked with a setting called „Diamantal“ which was specially developed in the manufactory. It has an off-cut setting on the inside. The Emoire ring enchants with its clear design concept, its extravagant look as well as a masterly quality "made in Germany".

The Le Marchant Manufacture: Tantalum wedding rings "made in Germany"
The family-run manufacture Le Marchant is located in the heart of Magdeburg, in Saxony-Anhalt. Here, unique jewellery and wedding rings are created that have soul and character. All pieces are handmade and "made in Germany". The manufacture stands for values such as sustainability, conscious consumption and high-quality.

On the one hand, the young and open family business stands for the preservation of old handicraft techniques, such as damascening, as well as for the use of the most modern technologies, such as laser engraving. All products are characterised by excellent quality - only high-quality, sustainably mined raw materials are used. Strict quality controls during production are carried out according to the four-eyes principle, among other things, so that customers can enjoy their jewellery for a lifetime.

The creative head and owner of the manufactory is Francisco Marchant. His goal is to create expressive jewellery by people for people. Each of his impressive designs reflects his innovative vision.
