Van Cleef & Arpels, a travel in the past to create the contemporary.

Many years have passed, more than a centenary, since La Maison Van Cleef & Arpels found its place in the world and in our hearts, at 22 Place Vendôme in Paris.

The artistic language of this maison has always combined a technical and artisan knowledge dedicated to detail with a refinement for the contemporary. The trend of the signs of the zodiac is certainly a common thread between the millennial generation and the z generation and the Maison Van Cleef & Arpels has decided to create a collection for them.

The Zodiaque collection is a reinterpretation of a collection already made in the 50s by the same maison. This time, however, each pendant becomes a three-dimensional story, moving it in your hands, in fact you discover the iconography of the sign (animals, human or mythological figures) and the elements of nature associated with it.

Fire, Air, Earth and Water seem to move thanks to the careful and creative chromatic and material combination of ornamental stones: iron tiger eye, red pietersite and red jasper were chosen for the fire, malachite with wavy streaks for the earth , chrome-plated aventurine and amazonite, lapis lazuli for the air, blue aventurine and golden obsidian and for water blue quartz, sodalite and turquoise.

The maison has also created a more essential version: 12 pendants in yellow gold. The uniqueness and the dream are always at the center of every creation by Van Cleef & Arpels, what will be the next journey of the Maison? We can't wait to hear about it.
