Piaget's roses continue to bloom

Art. 179

Summer may be coming to a close in the northern hemisphere, but Piaget’s glorious garden continues to grow.

Roses never cease to bloom at Piaget with five new creations that depict bouquets of Piaget’s iconic roses. The Piaget Rose is not only one of the Maison’s exquisite jewellery collections, it is also the name of an award-winning flower named after Yves Piaget, who is renowned for his passion for roses. Ever since he was a child growing up in La Côte-aux-Fées, he has been fascinated by the wildflowers around him, especially the Eglantines roses that would grow at an altitude of 1,000 metres.

Piaget presented its first Rose jewellery collection in 2012 to mark the 30th anniversary of this extraordinary rose bloom with its 80 layers of petals and its magnificent fragrance. The rose is also a symbol of love, joy and generosity, that has always been part of the Piaget philosophy.

These new Piaget Rose creations present bouquets of roses that are brought to life with a mix of textures, diamonds, and Piaget’s extraordinary savoir-faire. A generous bouquet ring and matching earrings are decorated with Piaget’s signature “Décor Palace” which accentuates the reflection of light on each rose petal. Beautifully set diamonds and polishing bring a further note of generosity to the bouquets. Available in rose gold, the ring and the earrings are is set with  brilliant-cut diamonds.

A second pair of earrings in rose gold presents a different bouquet design with one large open bloom fully set with diamonds, and a second smaller bud with a diamond in the centre, totalling 134 brilliant-cut diamonds.

Two ear clips offer a bold and different way to wear earrings as they can be clipped anywhere on the ear for an elegant and daring look. They come in a choice of rose or white gold and are set with 12 brilliant-cut diamonds.
