Revealed the Artistar Jewels participant selected for Romanian Jewelry Week
Romanian Jewelry Week 2.0 is celebrating contemporary jewelry between the 30th of September and the 3rd of October with exhibits, conferences, guided tours, fairs and over 190 Romanian and international designers, which will display their jewelry creations, numbering in the thousands.
The main exhibit will be opening at 11:00, on Thursday, the 30th of September, at Arcub Gabroveni and will showcase thousands of art pieces, created by 191 contemporary jewelry designers from over 25 countries from around the globe, such as Romania, USA, Canada, Mexico, Brasil, Spain, Germany, Hungary, France, United Kingdom, Italy, The Netherlands, Greece, Austria, Moldavia, Israel, China, Iran, South Korea, and many others.
The event will be complemented by six renowned collective exhibits, schools and international associations: Milano Jewelry Week, Budapest Jewelry Week, Co-Adorn Art Jewellery Society Canada, Sheffield Hallam University UK, Plus One Collective and The Gallery of Art in Legnica Poland. The exhibit will also showcase two international special guest designers - Daniella Saraya (Israel) and Claudia Lepik (Cluster London Artist in Residence).
Romanian Jewelry Week 2.0, a tour of contemporary jewelry in 6 different cultural locations in Bucharest: ARCUB - Gabroveni Inn - main exhibit, Assamblage Institute of Art and Design - Illegal exhibit - Silver and Gold before ‘89, Romania’s National Museum of History - Guided tour Romania’s Treasury, Galateca Gallery - Neo Fair - Eco & Wood Edition, AlbAlb - Romanian Jewelry Focus, Dizainăr - Jewelry on Display.
During this year’s edition, the prizes will be awarded by an internationally renowned jury, consisting of well established representatives of the most important contemporary jewelry international organizations, such as the European Federation of Jewellery in Bruxelles, Ilias Lalaounis Jewelry Museum in Athens, Joya Barcelona, Legnica Silver Festival and many others.
