Luisa Negro is a versatile artist who navigates between Murano glass and goldsmithing. She began her career with glass fusion and leaded glasswork in Barcelona, learning the art of lampworking to craft Murano glass beads in Venice under the guidance of a master glassmaker. Subsequently, she refined her skills at the Glass Research School, Glas&Modern, in Bolzano. In Florence, she pursued classical goldsmithing and micro-casting studies at the Metallo Nobile school, culminating her journey with an apprenticeship in a Florentine workshop under the guidance of master goldsmiths. Today, she operates in her own studio, where she creates unique jewelry that blends her two beloved materials using various artistic techniques.
