Autofocus gioielli

Italian artist who graduated in 1992 from the Istituto d’Arte with a focus on metal mediums, in 2017 Monica instinctively embarks on her creative project as a self-taught craftswoman and creates her brand Autofocus gioielli. Her pieces, defined by geometrical lines combined with volumes pertaining to the subjects, interpret the idea of contemporary jewel without giving up their ornamental function.Architectual, industrial, naturalistic,they are all inspiring contexts whose details left in their original environment would remain anonymous,but decontextualized and translate into authentic aesthetic dimension,are reborn into a new language in which the sign is no longer a mere function but becomes pure ornament.
