Hello, my name is Sabine Wassmer and I´m living on the edge of the Southern Black Forest in Bad Säckingen, Germany. In my parents´ jewellery shop I discovered the love and fascination for jewellery and gemstones. Early on, I decided to complete an apprenticeship as a goldsmith. During this time I was trained in Pforzheim and Freiburg. After graduating as a goldsmith I worked as a journeyman in different companies. In order to deepen my knowledge I attended the 2-year technical school for jewellery and equipment in Pforzheim. I successfully completed my study in 2000 with a degree to become a gold- and silversmith Master and state-certified jewellery designer. As a Master I worked 12 years in Bad Säckingen untill I started my own goldsmith´s workshop.
Natural shapes and special and unique details of plants are the inspiration for some designs of my jewellery. For example, small acorn caps or parts of the poppy capsule are cast in silver, gildet and blackened.
Skillfully placed in the center or as a design element makes each piece of my jewellery unique. They remain simple, but still elegant and eyecatching and can also be worn every day.
I am very pleased when my jewellery appeals to you.
