   demgo is a jewelry brand from Porto Alegre - Brazil founded in 2018 by Débora M. Goldenfum, designer and art historian. Working between the mutable and the eternal - qualities that are intrinsic to metals and to memory - demgo produces handmade jewelry from recycled silver. Through a contemporary look, the pieces are inspired by the ancient and carry the memory of the materials themselves, which were once other objects.
   The power of an object to tell stories has always been an inspiration to Débora’s studies and creations. demgo’s jewelry is based on antique objects from her family and on rethinking the ideas of these pieces from other times. According to the designer, the concept of memory manifests itself both through her drawings, also influenced by her experience as an art historian and artist’s jewelry researcher, and through the process of recycling materials.
