Birgit Duval Master Goldsmith

Birgit Duval is an award winning Master Goldsmith who was born and trained in Germany. After teaching and managing a workshop in Namibia she moved to Cape Town and began developing her own style combining her knowledge of traditional craftsmanship with Japanese techniques. Unconventional combinations of the Korean process keum-boo, sand cast, Japanese alloys and patinas are the basis of her bold and unique creations.
