Giulia Iosco at Roma Jewelry Week

Art. 19
11 October - 17 October 2021

Atelier Giulia Iosco in Rome join the first Rome Jewelry week.

A whole week devoted to promoting and enhancing contemporary jewelry: the first edition of the Roma Jewelry Week, organized by the Incinque Open Art Monti association with the patronage of the I Municipio of Rome and the Italian-American Chamber of Commerce in New York, turns the spotlight on jewelry designers and historical goldsmiths of the city, but also ateliers, galleries, academies and associations together with 130 international designers.

Until 17 October, widespread exhibitions, artistic performances and talks will invade the heart of the capital from Via Margutta to Campo Marzio, to show how contemporary art and creativity can coexist with technology and innovation but also with tradition. Special guided tours have been designed to involve visitors and discover the close relationship between the ancient goldsmith’s art and the history of Rome. The itineraries have been organized according to the Rioni of Rome, each of them has its own artistic, architectural and urban planning identity that will be narrated by specialized guides.

The flagship event of the Rome Jewelry Week is the Incinque Jewels Award: the contest, which aims to promote the culture of Contemporary Jewelry in the territory of Rome, takes place from 15 to 17 October for the first time in the archaeological site of the Auditorium of Maecenas, where 58 designer jewels will be exhibited to the public.
